I started my practice in 2007 with principals dedicated to integrity and excellence in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Hello, my name is Salma. I am an Accredited and Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that since becoming qualified in 2007 I have had extensive specialist training in areas of counselling and psychotherapy to enable clients to cope with their social, emotional, psychological and behavioural issues.
I am also a member of the International Centre for the Excellence in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (ICEEFT) and have completed their externship and advanced training programme in Couples Therapy.
At Inner Reflections, I provide a professional, safe, non-judgemental and confidential support in a comfortable, private and calm therapy room.
I am located in the village of Send in Woking covering the surrounding areas including Guildford, Weybridge, Wimbledon, Fulham, Egham and south east M25 region.
I have an extensive amount of experience in individual and couple counselling as well as counselling teenagers.
Practice Areas
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy aims to improve an individual’s well-being and mental health, to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills.
Counselling
This is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues. What you talk about will vary depend on what you want help with.
Bereavement
Bereavement, grief and loss can cause many different symptoms and they affect people in different ways. There’s no right or wrong way to feel. Talking to the right person will help gain understanding and acceptance.
I can help you feel better within yourself
At some point in our lives we are all faced with ‘problems/issues’. Sometime life’s glass seems decidedly half empty. We feel lost, stuck and unable to see a way forward.
In my private counselling practice in Send, in Woking, I can offer you a safe and confidential environment, where you can express yourself freely without the fear of being judged.
Together we can explore different options through inner-reflections to help empower you to resolve your issues, and move forward to achieve your counselling aims/goals.
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much” Hellen Keller.
Your Counselling journey will give you the opportunity to heal yourself and your relationships; to be aware of your emotional needs and wants and to BE that “person” you admire in others

My Working Philosophy
‘Problems do not exist only inside a person; they are usually connected to social, environmental and or cultural factors as well’.
‘I have 13 years of experience working therapeutically with individuals, couples and young adults. Counselling and Psychotherapy can be the food for the soul in as much as it heals you and your relationships in ways that you cannot imagine. In order to give this experience to my clients requires me to support them and connect with them at great depth and understanding which is what I endeavour to do’.
